Collection: Contemporary Series - artist's description

I am inspired by artists such as Artemisia Gentileschi, a Baroque painter who broke gender norms by painting powerful, emotionally intense biblical and mythological scenes featuring strong female protagonists and Frida Kahlo whose raw, surreal self-portraits explored identity, pain, gender, and politics. Her fearless portrayal of personal suffering and unapologetic embrace of indigenous culture and feminism challenged both artistic and societal expectations.

My work embraces an edgy, liberated style—raw, unapologetic, and emotionally charged. I strip away convention to reveal the chaos and beauty beneath the surface, using bold lines, intense color, and layered textures. Each piece is a rebellion, a confession, and a celebration of freedom, femininity, and fearless self-expression.
